Hi, I’m Alice McClelland. The founder of amc copywriting.

I’m a writer with experience, education and energy.

I have been writing for 20 years. My specialisms lie in education, youth development and travel. But I have also been known to write for hardware distributors and health charities. Breadth, diversity and challenge keeps my brain engaged and my ideas fresh.  

I have significant work and life experience to bring to the table – 15 years as an English teacher, 6 years in youth programme management and 5 years as a freelance copywriter and editor. My toolbox is packed with professional skills and high-level emotional intelligence permeates through my work.

I am from UK but have lived and worked overseas – namely in Kenya and Brunei. Two very different places but places I feel equally at home. On top of this, there has been a fair amount of gallivanting around the globe.

From all these adventures, I have accumulated an appreciation for difference and an ability to empathise. Also a healthy preoccupation with palm-fringed beaches and dusty roads.
